From Huddersfield and the
South |
|
|
|
Head for Huddersfield and get
on the ring road. Take the A629 (Halifax) road all the way up
to where it meets the M62 at Ainley Top roundabout. Take the
first exit off the roundabout signposted M62/Blackley. Drive
past the entry slip road to M62 West, and on to a second roundabout.
Take the Blackley exit off this roundabout. (You are now about
5 minutes from the ground.)

Keep on this road down the
hill until you come to a crossroads. Ignore the sign for
Elland to the right and go straight across into Hammerstones Road.
After 100 yards, follow the road round to the right into Hullen Edge
Road.

After a further 100 yards,
spot the clearly visible white gable-end on the right hand side, and
turn right into Elland Cricket Club. |

From Leeds and the East |

Take the M62 westbound,
leaving the motorway at J24.
|

|
The slip road off the
motorway leads you on to a short stretch of dual carriageway and on
to a roundabout. Get in the right hand lane as you approach
the roundabout. |

Entering the roundabout move
over to the right hand lane (the inside) as you will be going all
the way round, taking the 5th exit back towards the motorway,
signposted M62/Blackley. |

From Hebden Bridge |
|
|

From Hebden take the Halifax
road and go down Tuel Lane to Sowerby Bridge. Turn right in
Sowerby Bridge, out to Ripponden. In Ripponden, turn left
heading for West Vale and Elland.. Follow this road up and
over to West Vale. Go straight ahead at the lights in West
Vale. |

After 200 yards you come to a
‘scissors’ junction. Move across to the top road and after
500 yards turn right into Hullen Edge Road. Drive past the
public playing pitches and Elland Cricket Club is on your left
directly opposite Overgate Hospice. |
