Directions |
FROM M1 or LEEDS |
At M1 Junction 43, keep left
heading for M1 North, not in to Leeds
Turn off M1 at Junction 46,
turn left |
Follow Leeds Ring Road about
8-10 miles |
From Lawnswood roundabout
(A660, signs to Skipton and Airport)– keep heading out of Leeds on
the A660 |
Keep going all the way almost
to Otley (but not in to Otley)- about 6-7 miles. |
As you come down a long hill
towards Otley, reach a roundabout and turn left (sign will say
Ilkley/Skipton) |
At the next roundabout
straight on. |
After about 2 miles you reach
another roundabout – turn left. |
Very soon, another roundabout
– turn right – this is Main Street, Burley-in-Wharfedale. |
FROM HUDDERSFIELD, HALIFAX
or BRADFORD |
Turn off M62 at J26 on to
M606. Turn right at the end of M606 on to ring road (East). Turn
left at 2nd roundabout on to A650.
Straight on, following signs
for Skipton or Keighley, until near Shipley, about 3 miles north of
Bradford City Centre. The road bends left, crosses a railway bridge,
then you reach lights where you can’t go straight on. Stay in the
right hand lane and turn right (signs to Ilkley)
Keep going straight on
towards Ilkley. |
Keep left at a pub called The
Fox at Menston. |
In another 2 miles you reach
a roundabout, turn left – this is Main Street, Burley-in-Wharfedale. |

FROM MAIN STREET TO BURLEY
REC PITCHES |
In about 300 yards you reach
MCC Garage and Otley Carpet Mills. Park near there, and walk down
York Road at the side of the garage. Pitches are at the end of York
Road.
If parking is difficult,
there is a car park about 300 yards further on the right.

FROM MAIN STREET TO
SCALEBOR PARK PITCHES |
In half a mile you reach 2
mini-roundabouts. At the second, turn left.
In about half a mile, after
going under railway bridge, you will pass William Fison Ride on the
right. You’ll then see the pitch through some trees. Go in the
entrance just after that and park there.
