The girls of Norristhorpe had a wonderful morning on
Saturday 3rd March 2012
Norristhorpe travelled to Guiseley with a team who had not
previously played a game, the girls were really excited and
could not wait to get kitted up and onto the pitch. The
weather was not too kind at the outset but soon the morning
warmed up allowing the girls to enjoy the occasion.....
The teams
played a round robin set of games. Guiseley Blues played the
Leopards first in an evenly contested game, it was then the
turn of the two Guiseley teams to play each other and again a
well balanced match was played out. The fund ended with the
Leopards playing Guiseley Yellows.
All threee teams played really well and goals flowed
throughout, there were smiles all the way from the girls and
bundles of encouragement and applause from both sets of
supporters, the support for all the girls from both sets of
parents. Sportsmanship was in large supply from all those
involved with all the parents and girls mingling at the end of
the games to congratulate each other on a marvellous mornings
entertainment.
